BARN YARD
VENTURES
Changing The World One Doodle At A Time
Barn Yard Ventures Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non profit that breeds and trains F1 and F1b Goldendoodles then places one Service trained Goldendoodle out of each of their litters with a disabled Service man or woman in the local Orlando area. Barn Yard Ventures was established in 2008 by President and Founder Anthony Matinrazm a USMC Disabled Veteran, his CoFounder and wife Joanne, who has been his sole caregiver of 36 years and their personal dog trainer, friend, and CoFounder Jocelyn McGuiness. Jocelyn whom has over 30 years of experience in training and breeding, trained Anthony's Goldendoodle puppy Razzbie to be his own Service dog, a dog that changed all three of their lives.
The three joined forces and established Barn Yard Ventures and purchased a rural piece of property in Clermont Florida. They built a training facility to breed and house the pups that they would later donate to local Veterans that are in need of assistance. After selection, the service pups go through a rigorous training program learning to open and close doors, pick up items that might be dropped, and various other tasks. They are socialized and work with numerous volunteers, and only after hours and months of extensive training are placed with a disabled Veteran at no charge, to do helpful tasks for their new owners. The other pups in the litter are available for adoption at 8 weeks of age going to forever homes, with a portion of the donation for the pet, being tax deductible. The Donations go to help fund the housing, food, and veterinary costs associated with the Service animals that are in training. All Barn Yard Venture Breeding Parents are tested at 2 years of age for soundness of hips, eyes and elbows through OFA/Penn hip and are certified clear before they are bred. Barn Yard Ventures decided to use the Goldendoodle because it is highly intelligent, its non shedding coat, and for its eagerness to learn quickly and its willingness to please their owners.
